FIVE HOUSEHOLDS RAZED DOWN BY FIRE AT THE TAKORADI TECHNICAL UNIVERSITY AREA GETS SUPPORT

The Transactors Ltd. a real estate and property management company located at Effia Kuma New site in collaboration with Radio Silver 92.3fm has donated some relief item’s to victims whose household were recently razed down by fire at the Takoradi Technical University area.

The donation forms part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (C.S.R.) to the community.

Some of the items donated included, 50 roofing sheets, 25 bags of cements and an undisclosed amount of money were given to the 5 affected households.

Making the donation, the Managing Director of Transactors Ltd., Mr. Leonard Borkloe who accompanied by His Operations officer Mr. Kingsley Appiah and the former Assembly member Hon. Isaac Badu-Nkansah making the donation, said he was touched by the plight of the victims whose households were engulfed by the fire.

Mr. Borkloe a Businessman, urged the victims to use the donation for its intended purpose since the rains have already set in to avoid any unfortunate circumstances.

For his part, the Assembly Member for the Area, Adams Seidu thanked Management of the Transactors Limited for the kind gesture and used the opportunity to appeal to other coporate institutions, benevolent Organizations and the Public to come to their aid.

He further cautioned residents in the Area to desist from negative attitudes such as the rampant dumping of waste in drains to avoid any flooding during the raining season.

In a related Development, the Member of Parliament for Effia, Hon. Joseph Cudjoe has expressed condolence to victims whose household were razed down by fire.

According to the MP, were the incident happened directly falls under his constituency, so he will do everything possible within his capacity to support them to recover on time to be able go about their daily activities peacefully. This was contained in a statement issued by Mr. Henry Kwofie on behalf of the M.P.

Some of the victims who benefitted from the donation commended the companies for the kind gesture.
